France 2017

Year 6 had a wonderful trip to France in June. They took part in lots of activities where they were able to practise their French language skills, from buying souvenirs at the market to learning about cheese production at the goat farm. They stayed in a beautiful Chateau and spent the four days visiting the local area of Rue and the surrounding towns. At the beach in Berck-Sur-Mer, they enjoyed making sand sculptures and learnt how to make soucettes in a traditional sweet shop.

All the children did extremely well in understanding and speaking lots and lots of French!
