Welcome to Year 2.
Year 2 is a busy and fun filled year in school when the children take on new challenges and stretch themselves. Year 2 children build on the knowledge and skills acquired during Early Years and Year 1 and build on their understanding across the curriculum, taking learning to new depths.
The children enjoy a range of topics including ‘Fantastic Artastic’ ‘Stepping Back in Time’ and ‘Land Ahoy.’ They will take part in workshops and school trips linked to their learning. We aim to support the children to be the best and happiest learners they can be and hope they truly enjoy their time in this year group.
Guided reading days are spread across the week so book bags should be sent in every day and our PE days are Wednesdays and Thursdays.
